There are several myths and legends in the Icarus Sea. Such as the Ghost Ship Wenn IV, which tells about a sunken ship, but strangely somebody still sees it prowling silently on foggy days. When you spotted it, a lingering atmosphere will emits out of the mist with haunting and eerie whisperings. People believe that if you follow it by curiosity, you will never come back, ever again.
Or the tale of Jiao and Qangshi, two brave captains from Xiqueng who defeated the gigantic Earth Crab - the monster who where it steps on, that place becomes a lake, where it stomp on, that place becomes a sea. Put a dot to its career of centuries causing havoc to the world.
LOCATION & GEOGRAPHY
Location
Icarus Ocean is the third found ocean, considered to be the second-largest out of four. Lies in the Northeast to the Southwest.Geography
It surrounds more than half of the Sumarch continent and 1/4 of the Southland, and it is a neighbor to Y'yoth Ocean in the North West, Ayaz Ocean in the South. Also, this is where Icarus and Sigma tectonic plates collide, creating underwater mountain ranges run to the western of Sumarch. Icarus has a total of 7 seas, list in:FAUNA & FLORA
Aquatic sapient species
There are some ethical living in the Icarus Ocean. That’s the Polladia from the Republic of Yaqys, the Arievian from Xinosria and Corallis, the Cumatian from Varia.
Fauna
Because Icarus is a warm ocean, plus with numerous tropical islands emerge out of the water, provides an ideal habitat for hundreds of tropical fishes, birds, and sea animals. Here famous for gigantic Star Whale, unique Noras bird, and delicious Sunbeam Fish, also don’t forget those lovely Coastal Starfish - a common but never outdated material for jewelry! Some type of monster settles at this ocean either, usually Dwelling and Assassin Shark. The other is not a big thread generally, so you just need some preparation before sailing out. Go further to the Northern, it's a home of Siren and various high danger monsters like Harpee, better keep in mind. There are a few reports about big sea monsters recently. Seem like they have wandered from other regions to this place, or maybe they were living here at the beginning, unnoticeably.Flora
Icarus’s aquatic vegetation is vigorous. Coral reefs, seaweed, kelp, etc. Sprouting everywhere and formed a rich ecosystem between plants and animals on the ocean floor. This sea is the only location where you can find Blood Kelp, Anchor Coral, and endangered Seabed Tree, with many more native marine plants.METEOROLOGY

The Icarus Ocean is a tropical and sub-tropical climate type. Meaning the weather here is mostly sunny and bright, but very extreme when storming.Weather
As it said, the weather in Icarus is usually clear and sunny, windy at night. From May to July, storms occur more frequently, it is still unknown why it happens, many meteorologists and scientists guess that the hot air in the summertime causes more rain is the explanation.ROLES & ECONOMY

Icarus convergent all the big potentional for fishery and marine economy: tropical climate, great biosystem, rich in minerals, multiple islands and archipelagoes. It has played a huge part in the income for many kingdoms in Sumarch for hundred of years.HISTORY

Icarus Ocean was found in 1028 by a famous navigator and cartographer, Mezeala Annabeth. Who with her crewmates came to Sumarch for researching and then discovered an unknown sea - which is Mottearean Sea nowadays, furthermore they followed where it leads to and revealed a new vastly seascape, Mezeala decided to call it Bauveu Ocean, after the name of sea goddess in her religion.1035-1200
Icarus Ocean only used for offshore fishing. It’s still not widely recognized yet in geography.1250-Now
Eventually, Ioannis, the 13th ruler of Fasmagloria, utilized the Bauveu Ocean for sea transport and re-named it into the Icarus Ocean. Mark the first official recognition of Icarus Ocean in the Goble’s marine cartography.MYTHS & LEGENDS
