  Fasmaria (Greek: φάσμα ~ fásma ("spectrum"), meaning Land of glorious light), is one of the first kingdoms in the Goble Realm. Fasmarians worship and protected by their native gods. This region known for its big advantage in maritime trade and shipping network. Blessed with beautiful coasts and a long culture of art and wars.  

Geography

Own a whole bottom half of the West Sumarch, Fasmaria is considered to be the second-largest country on this continent. 3/4 of this nation is plains and meadows, with lower height as you go to the South. Due to its lack of mountain, this land bathes in sunlight and unstopping winds all the time. Moderate atmosphere when normal, and extreme when storming.   Fasmagloria divided into 4 region, each has it special characteristics and areas.  

The Northern - The Grassland

A region of vast grasslands - home of the nomads and free souls. Plants and wild flowers bloom lushly by frequent rains brought from the distant sea.
Nevertheless, this place was a bloodshed battlefield of the White Sword War. It left a deep scar into this soil which can be seen by the messed up terrain, abandoned ruins, and a chilling silent creep its way into the peaceful scenery.  

    Areas & Landmarks

     
  • Elvastimo - The biggest grassland of Fasmaria, 9 big and small villages are residing here in total.
  • Onemon grassfield - A windy grassfield lay between west and east. Infested with monsters.
  • Ruin of old Foros - Remnant of the old city Foros, destroyed 200 years ago in the war. Many monsters nesting here.
  • Oakwood Hill - A hill near the ruin of old Foros, where the old Temple of Light build.
 

The Western - Lake and Moutain

The end of Y'yonmogg moutain and here Lake of Chalkros lies. This area is famous by its alien scenery, where many myths and tales were born and buried deep in the sand of time.

  • Lake Chalkros - Largest lake in Fasmaria, the main source of freshwater for this nation.
  • Tail of Y'yonmogg - The end of a long mountain range which made from the corpse of the Great Serpent Y'yonmogg.
  • Cinder Forest - Red leaves forest lay at the foot of Chronosis mountain.
 
Lakkostheo
Lakkostheo, or Holes of the Sky. Is a strange natural wonder at the end of Y'yonmogg tail. Have a broken dome-shape, filled with various holes. Native people believe these are gates lead to the other world.
 

The Southern - Gifted Land

Face to the Chalkros Sea and protected by Chronosis mountain, it is no wonder why here is the headquarter of Fasmaria. Gathered all essences from the sky and earth, life in the south land vigor, more and more cities will sprouts in this place.

  • Chronosis mountain - A mountain that protect the South of country.
  • Foros capital - Glorious city near Chalkros Sea, title The Heart of Fasmaria.
  • Starcatcher Lake - A freshwater lake, has a crystal clear water that can reflect the entire nightsky.
  • Chalkros Sea - A sea claimed by Fasmarian. Snakes along the South Sumarch.
 

The Eastern - Howling Land

Infamous with many coastal cliffs. The east of Fasmagloria isn't different from the south much. However, one thing that make this region stand out that this is where the Silzt Wind hit, resulting in the gusty and harsh environment.  

    Areas & Landmarks

     
  • Whiteskull Cliff - Limestone cliff that used as an execution area, a grave of many unfortunate criminals and slaves. Infested with monsters.
  • Emoira beach - Serene beach with many gulfs. Contrast from the hollow sceneries of the eastside.
  • Lamenting Cliff - A cliff where the wind blow through small holes in the rocks at night, creates a thousands of depressing screams and moans.
 
Yearly, in August, a festival called Night of Thousand Spirits will be held in Lamenting Cliff. Many dancers will dress up as soul of the deads and parade from the cliff to the villages, then they visit each houses that have kids to scare them. This festival was created to mourn who died at this area, also to warn their children not to play near the cliff and know how to behave.

Culture

Architecture

Fasmaria famous for its distinct architecture. Most of the houses and buildings you see here are made of pure limestone, which give them a beautiful white. Considering this nation start from windy coastlines, limestone from local cliffs is the best choice due to its advantages in prevent withering and control the heat inside the house. Granite also used a lots for paved wall and floor as well.
Otherwise, houses of the poors or in small village, are often made from wood, straw, rock and mudbrick.

Painting

The topics of Fasmarians art are usually about heroes and heroines, daily life, the deities and ancient myths. Mural is also famous, allow people to express themselves and still decorate buildings in a unique ways.

Sculpture

In Ereana era, people had teached how to sculpt by her. Now, sculpting has rooted deep inside Fasmarian culture. Every works here are made of burning passion, by the hands of the most precise artists who trained for years.  

Pottery

A national symbol, even being teaching in schools. After pottery import to this land from Ishraan merchants, the folks quickly adapted and mastered it. Beautiful ceremics of Fasmaria attract hundred of people around the world to come buy.

Literature

A home of many poets and writers. Fasmarian literature have a big impact on the history of the world, deeply affect to many big-and-small cultures.
Most of the works are well-knowm poems, epics and philosophies.

Government

Fasmaria is a theocracy nation at the start of dawn, and that hierachy system is still continue to this day. The government divide into 3 rankings:
  • Church: Own a complete control over the nation, heading by High Priest/Priestess.
  • Lord/Lady: Govern a state or city. Right hand of the Church.
  • Noble: Govern a town or small lands. Have mission to contribute to the nation's economy.
  • The everlasting Church of Light

    The Church, like said before, have a nigh-absolute control over the Fasmaria. They are the bridge between mortal and the Celestial - worship, preachs and follows the guidances of them.
    Unlike other place, where the next ruler is crowned to prince or princess, the next High Priest/Priestess is chosen by the gods themselves - this event named the Radiance Incarnation, and native call the chosen ones Metensomator.  

    Industry

    Marine & Exportation

    Seventy percent of this land is surrounded by sea. Not only that, many important marine routes also passing here, provide a big chance for developing a strong marine industry. And of course, what thing could stop the folks to take that golden chance.

    Although many limits held it back, these were solved thanks to the clever mind of architects. And when the era of High Priest Enden come, the marine industry really blown up - ports varies in size sprouting on shores like mushroom, Fasmaglorian shipping is become well-known, and Icarus: the first Glideship ever was invented for marine purpose,...
      The main resources for exporting are seafoods, medicines, foalwood, building materials and ceremics.  

    Agriculture

    Aside thriving fishery and aquaculture, they're expert in farming and husbandry. The Fasmarian civilization emerged from fertile plains, which soon be exploited for farming and breeding cattle. While forestry mainly be done in the west, where foalwood is collecting from Cinder Forest.  

    Diving

    A sport, a traditional activity, and a rising career among the young. Divers swims down to the depth for collecting pearls and underwater botany, especially Kreotellis Seaweed - a golden treasure of Fasmaria's ocean.

    Factions

    The Church of Light

    At the center of Foros Citadel, a marble-made cathedral towering any building in the city, here is the workplace of the Church members. They hold a nearly absolute power and a loyal hand of the Three Realm God, who control the whole nation along High Priests and Priestesses overseeing anything. Outside ruling, the Church also participate in many religion works such as preaching, prepare rituals and send residents words to the gods...  

    The Pente

    Five biggest and strongest noble families of Fasmagloria, they gathered into an alliance called The Pente.  

    Chloris Clan

    Chloris Clan or the Thorned Rose House, the first in The Pente. Infamous with giant estate and their cunning tricks. Has relationship with many foreign noble families.  

    Panos Clan

    Panos Clan or the White Crane House, the second in The Pente. Dominated the textile industry of Fasmagloria.  

    Oyster Clan

    Oyster Clan or the Grey Shell House, one in five families. The Oyster Clan known for their exceed in marine industry and own many gigantic ships. Their reputation bloomed after sponsored the Icarus glideship project.  

    Dimitris Clan

    Dimitris Clan or the Gilded Helmet House, perhaps the most fearsome house out of five. Dimitris Clan had trusted by the Church to governs and trains folks into warrior for the future uses. Furthermore their assets is something can't be underestimate.  

    Vasilakis Clan

    Vasilakis Clan or the Silver Iris House, the last in The Pente. Vasilakis focus on the industry of metallurgy, forging and alchemy with ownership of many factories and warehouses. They also command an army of scouts and spies, hence their house's nickname.
