UPS issued monetary system.

A common form of currency used on planets with established UPS presence, or planets who have chosen to use them by choice (often former UPS worlds, or have strong economic motive to keep a widely accepted monetary system).

Some planets recently Annexed, may not have their economy fully "transitioned" to using $UCs. Some abandoned, or un-annexed worlds use alternative local currencies which many be difficult to use outside of the area. Barter is still a common method of trade in some corners of the galaxy.

Generally untraceable, even in digital form. Although "marked" bills/payments are technically possible.
