Ship Classes

Liberators are the largest of all ships, only three are known to exist. These provide an offensive presence because of their high destructive capabilities. They also provide leisure and living quarters for entire cities worth of populations.   Grand strikers are a special class of strikers usually employed only in large armadas. Rare and versatile, they typically carry important individuals and dedicated weapon payloads. Devistating, but typically kept on world as assurance.   Deathculls the highest class of ships typically seen in warzones. They lead tactical assaults and carry hundreds of plasma rays, bombard guns, and heavy armour. Capable of acting as carriers in a pinch, Deathculls are a sign of heavy commitment to a war effort. In times of peace they act as isolated partol ships, capable of taking out dozens of strikers and dropships on their own.   Strikers the largest ship class known to be owned by offworld entities, Strikers mix quick movement with multiple attack points for versatile offensive threat. Smaller than the lower Dropship class, they are capable of being run with a skeleton crew of only twenty.   Dropships are a cargo ship with increased defensive capability, but little to no attack power. They are typically utilized in either safe locations or with the assistance of other offensive ships. The usual build has three large cargo bays, and despite their large size they are light on mechanical/computerized equipment making the barest models accessible for private citizens.   Runners are very fast, very light ships. Used for scouting by military purposes, they are also common within wealthier classes for pleasure purposes as they are easy to mantain, cheap to dock and power. Some models are outfitted with weapons, usually those for military purposes. This is the largest ship able to be managed by a single individual.   Skiffs are the smallest class of ship and vary widely in their construction. Almost always personal vehicles, they only widely produced models act as lifeboats for emergency operations. Many individuals have their own Skiffs, and some are not even capable of off world travel, used mainly as a glorified aircraft which enters lower orbit to make use of rotational forces for quicker travel. Anything smaller than a Skiff is usually an unmanned drone.
