Metals Corp

Metals Corp is the foremost metal working company on Monoti, and central to their key export of complex, specialized space products. They are most well known for their production of dyson swarm modules, and the 113402a6 model of spaceship casing which has been heavily used in light Striker and Runner models. Their specialty is light but tough metalic materials, owing to very efficient and safe traveling. In addition, their thinnest metals are cut and processed into most electronics. After running out competitors no one else has been able to produce small enough transitors for quantum computing at Eclesial levels of speed. In this monopoly of products and reputation of reliability Metals Corp has been able to keep prices high.

Public Agenda

Metals Corp. does little advertising and releases few public statements. They hire through recruitment only and attempt to keep a very low profile, as such their logo is rarely stamped on products. So while many have heard of them, few are aware of how far their tendrils reach.

Metals Corp. own mining facilities all over the galaxy (many of which are not in use) but only processes metals on Oompach.

History

Metals Corp. was founded in 980TN under the name Caln Company, and was originally a mining operation off of the frozen Bentarnix moon. They took a few decades to grow before switching to metal casting in the early 1050's TN. In 1104TN they changed their name to Metals Elite Corporation, before shortening it to Metals Corp. just six years later. For the past 600 years they have grown in size and status, silently encircling other companies to form a monopoly without notice from the shorter lived species.
