Alioso Mendata

Alioso Mendata “the broken one”, is an ancient theory concerning the destruction of all living things. The phrase comes from Benediction an ancient religious tome that ancestors turned to in a time of strife. The work itself is broken into many small, poetic eddas which describe a dying species cradling into itself, at times wishing for the end of all as a penance for the suffering they had caused thus far. Their very continuation being seen as a cyclical damnation of life itself. Alioso Mendata comes from the following section.

“and thrust upon [the] mourning masses, the whole beckons breaking,

souls shrouded in the final dream, eyes ablaze with life and despondence,

the sun unto the father, thou who makes what is unmade again,

we call at last for the love of silent respect, unto your [feet] we throw,

from there Alioso Mendata – a premonition on the rise of every wave,

curse the name and give the sin its do, but pray this mind is not renewed,

for the mistakes before are made again, lest Alioso Mendata is stilled and dead”
