The Galactic Planes

This is the galaxy in which all stories of mine take place. It composes of three different planes, for lack of better words I call them the Pre-Mortal, Mortal, and Post-Mortal planes. They are geographically very similar. Beings in this universe exist in all three planes at once. The deciding factor is where your consciousness is. For example: When someone dies their connection to the mortal plane is severely diminished without a body to anchor it and it becomes much harder to keep their consciousness there. Thus drawing their consciousness into the Post-Mortal plane.  The center of the galaxy is where each of the planes are compressed into one. This is where the Galaxy itself resides.
