Campaign Outline

Book One: A Conspiracy of Megacorps
Prologue: Making Your Mark -- Olympia, Grimm, and Scrud meet and gain solid reputations as a competent team of mercenaries in cyberpunk Seattle.
Part 1: A Megacorp Escalation -- Olympia and Scrud are pulled in deep on a job when they learn of deadly intrigue between the world's most powerful corporations, who are on the verge of war.
Part 2: The Northgate Mall Incident -- Many are caught in a suspected terrorist event when a terrifying psychic virus spreads through a public mall, causing chaos and death.
Part 3: Haiti -- Scrud, Grimm and Olympia meet Lux when investigating the conflict between megacorporations on Haiti. While there, they discover some large data cache has been emptied and transferred all over the world.
Part 4: The Probe on the Docks -- Scrud becomes infected with the sonic virus from Northgate. Hoping they don't have to kill their friend, the group looks for background on the virus and finds an alien probe stashed in a megacorp vessel.
Part 5: The Fall -- Triggered by Scrud's superspreader event, a machine intelligence appears to wipe humanity off of the face of the globe. The crew survives due to their connections.
Book Two: The Portal Network
Part 1: One Step for Human -- With Lux, who appears from nowhere, Scrud's crew finds S.E.E.L. through a wormhole located on Triton following a long space journey.
Part 2: Playing Space Mercenary -- The crew performs mercenary tasks for a year in the Saturnian system while waiting for corporate assets to be delivered.
Part 3: The Rainbow Ring -- The crew begins to explore the portals in earnest, finding several uninhabited worlds at varying levels of safety.
Part 4: Basic Beach -- The crew encounters a world-sized A.I. that wants to exterminate all biological life and a mysterious synthetic creature from Earth that has found her way there.
Part 5: Stranded! -- Scrud's crew leaps without looking and finds themselves back on Earth. To return to the portal network, they must charge an artificial portal found in ruined NYC.
Part 6: The Megacorps' Appearance -- A second portal is discovered near Earth's Sun. Megacorps quickly set up a base for exploitation efforts and come into conflict witb the Crew.
Part 7: Nel-Tesk and the Maeglin -- On Tandoori, the crew discovers a copy of an ancient scientist's mind. Lux returns this mind to life in a human body and together they explore abandoned Maeglin structures.
Part 8: The Anansi's Disappearance -- Lux, William, Howser and Ifera travel to the homeworld of a fellow sentient race to find it mostly abandoned, its inhabitants evacuated through the portal.
Part 9: A Truce with Pathfinder -- Howser negotiates with the colonization megacorp to avoid active conflict while Grimm and Olympia handle their leader.
Part 10: The Search for Weapons -- The crew embarks on a long journey to the Academy to search for left-behind Maeglin weapons.
Interlude: The Mytholization -- Scrud's crew helps to establish a new home for humanity on the shores of Nordic Frog Beach. A few desperate survivors from Earth, as well as a number of Outer System immigrants, travel there to settle. Ten generations pass. 
Book Three: A Cornucopia of Hidden Life
Prologue: A Meeting of Minds -- Daniel, Rimes, Banzan, Genesis, and Dr. Astrid Laforeze meet performing scientific surveys for the University of New Alexandria.
Part 1: The Totem is Uncovered -- Astrid and Banzan recover a device that emits unlimited water far under the ocean on Nordic Frog Beach, and bring it to Tandoori to aid the terraforming efforts there.
Part 2: The Leviathan Awakens -- A gala thrown by Rimes to bring attention to the Imperial threat is interrupted by the surfacing of a terrifying monster summoned by the theft of the Totem. Astrid and Daniel cooperate to drive the monster back into the ocean.
Current: Defending Against Opportunists -- Led by Rimes and Astrid, our crew combats Exile and Imperial incursions into Protectorate space while the Protectorate recovers from the Leviathan's attack.
