An Alexandrian is a student, a teacher, or a researcher at the New Alexandria University of Natural Sciences. The Alexandrian studies a variety of academic subjects. They are a consummate scientist, constantly gaining new knowledge in service to their goals. Alexandrians are skilled in analysis, and build or manage tools that give them a variety of different abilities.
Alexandrians are intelligent, cunning, crafty, and they have a wide variety of skills and expertise available to them.
Individual Role: An Alexandrian is a smart, capable adventuring scholar. They have key knowledge and scientific tools to uncover more.
Group Role: The Alexandrian is the "guy in the chair". They're the one who's got the knowledge, and, if their team is lucky, they'll have the tools to solve whatever problem is at hand too.
Societal Role: Alexandrians push the boundaries of what is known. They research the cutting edge, and go where none have gone before to uncover great secrets.
Advanced Alexandrian: At higher tiers, Alexandrians have a wide base of practical knowledge in a wide variety of fields. They have scientific tools and expertise to study and analyze whatever they might find out in the field.

Weapons You become practiced with light weapons and armor. You have an inability with medium and heavy weapons. Your attacks with medium and heavy weapons are hindered.
Starting Equipment Appropriate clothing plus a hand scanner, two expensive items, one moderately priced item, and up to four inexpensive items.
