The Divershplain

One of the largest and oldest reflections in the Funhouse, the Divershplain is united by its cultural homogeneity more primarily than it is by geography, at least on a planar level.  This does not mean that, in general, the geography and climate across the reflection are fairly consistent (the place is one giant grassland, plain, steppe, for the most part), but that is not the primary part which provides planar stability.  Instead it is the unity of culture and belief of most of the denizens there, even though in the current era those people have splintered into a large number of smaller kingdoms and principalities.  This singular identity can be likened to that present in the Hellenic world post-Alexander.  This is primarily due to the fact that near the origin period of the entire funhouse, a mysterious conqueror of human decent created an empire which stood where this reflection sits now, somehow not only uniting or driving out the various sentient beings found there, but also, if records are to believed, defining his territory metaphysically, and creating one of the first stable Reflections in the plane.  While empires have risen since which were larger and more powerful, most of those did not do so from such an unsteady foundation, nor through the singular effort and will of such a being, that most would expect to be far lacking when compared to his contemporaries in terms of personal power.
This man, Karaj Raksi has accomplished beyond-mythical status in the homeland that he created for himself, and is what every aspiring king or conqueror wishes to be.  Perhaps even more significant however is the respect with which he is viewed by those beings of sufficient note who still live that new him in his day.  Most will not willingly speak of him and his deeds to just anyone, but various rulers of note who are members of longer-lived races (such as ruling members of Elorian Empire, Fey nobles, and the like will admit to having had dealings with him.
He is best known for his regalia, a series of 8 extremely powerful magical items which he collected over the course of his conquest, and used to unify his burdgeoning realm.
