Public Agenda

The People of Order follow the Section of Order in the Chapter of Purpose of the Book of Law.
They believe that the ultimate survival of New Chesnow relies on the strictness of the Law. A keen, ever-present eye on the populace keeps crime low and dissenters suppressed. Ranked individuals are members of the City Watchmen and City Guards. It is headed by the Commander of Order, who is the police advisor for the Captain.
Many who follow this ideology have rejected religion, old or new. The Gods have left us to die, so why should we continue to praise or even listen to them?

History

The Order was created nine months after the creation of New Chesnow. It originally began as the local neighborhood watch, with Commander Antero Valtonen and Corporal ██████ █████ as the two Watchmen of the city. The two eventually expanded their ranks, promoting themselves to Corporals and bringing in new members as part of the Watchmen. The rank of Private was created when times got rough and the risk of societal collapse became a high potential, allowing for there to be official guards of the city.
Corporal ██████ █████ was found with his throat removed in his room. A four month investigation went into trying to find who murdered him, though no one was ever found, with no witnesses, no evidence, nothing. Corporal Antero Valtonen went into a month-long depression after the investigation was finally called off, regretting the loss of his best friend. He later returned to service, guards describing him as a soulless husk for a few weeks after his return.
Further ranks were created with more watchmen and guards hired to try to prevent another incident like that. Corporal Antero Valtonen was later made the Commander of Order under the Captain.
