Wellsprings are a magical phenomena where magic physically bleeds into the world. They are intertwined with and revered by fairies and dryads who protect them ferociously.

Effect

Wellsprings are pure, primal magical energy. They can be used as an infinite source of magical power by those gifted enough to control them. Fae naturally feed off and are empowered by this magic.

Side/Secondary Effects

They cast a blue light that interferes and messes with magic. Magically gifted feel their powers slipping out of their control.
Physically interacting with a wellspring charges the subject with unlimited power that quickly begins to consume them and burn them away.

Manifestation

A portal of blue-silver liquid. The perimeter of it forms an endless, shifting circle that replenishes itself.
