Sea Giant

The strange water of the The Milkwater has altered many animals, and the sea giant is a result of this. While usually dwelling at the bottom of the vast, milky water, they have recently started emerging after being disturbed by sinking ships.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Sea giants are humanoids. As youngsters, they stand about 15 feet tall. They never stop growing, reaching colossal heights of up to 70 or 80 feet. Sea giants have two arms and legs. Their heads are large with two large eyes. Instead of mouths, they have a number of long tentacles with a space for eating and digesting at its centre.   Older sea giants obtain a more skeletal facial appearance, as if the years under water have taken their toll on them.

Biological Traits

Sea giants have large heads full of tentacles, as well as large strong fists for rearranging the weathered rock of the ocean to form their shelters. Young sea giants are around 10 meters tall, though the oldest and strongest adults can reach up to around one hundred meters.

Genetics and Reproduction

Sea giants rarely reproduce, meaning that they value life immensely. A sea giant slain by a land race will be avenged by the whole community.

Growth Rate & Stages

Sea giants can live up to 100 years.

Ecology and Habitats

Sea giants are spotted around the eastern coast of the Eastern Kingdoms, bordering on the Milkwater. It is assumed they live in the deep waters off shore.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Sea giants mostly eat fish from the shallow reefs of the Milkwater, as well as sea weed. They are known to eat capsized humans too.

Additional Information

Social Structure

Sea giants are solitary creatures. They hunt whales and sharks alone, and mate only occasionally.

Average Intelligence

Sea giants are sentient; they have their own gibberish tongue and are capable of communicating.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Sea giants communicate only through intensely powerful telepathy. They are able to share memories, ideas, as well as replicate normal speech. To establish a connection, they first link participants together by touching their tentacles to them. Once established, this connection can be relit within range.
