Bored by the steady but staid approach of the City Institute for Natural History, renegade geologist Dr. Paul Armstrong resigned an assistant curatorship to take a more proactive approach to his chosen field of scientific endeavor. Over the years, Armstrong has accumulated evidence that the Emerald City area’s geological wonders had yet to truly be explored, and the wealth of gemstones uncovered over the years was only the beginning. He has vowed to follow the path of knowledge wherever it leads.
