Seigemaker

Ramiro Puenzo

Brazilian born Ramiro Puenzo sat on his father’s lap while Puenzo, Sr. built his custom-made weapons and battlesuits for many of South America’s would-be despots, armored villains, and any one of the 65 mafia heads dotting the socio-economic landscape. Ramiro was raised in a household where villainous superstars sat in his kitchen, eating his mother’s cooking and bouncing little Ramiro on their knees while his father tended to their technological needs. Ramiro called them all uncle and aunt, never realizing they weren’t actually family, but despots. As Ramiro grew and followed in papa’s footsteps, he clashed with his humble father who never planned on using his inventions himself. Ramiro, however, was enamored by the villains he met and wanted to strike out on his own. So he moved to the U.S., and capitalized on the untapped market for gadgets, using his father’s patrons for referrals.   After designing and creating his own battle suit, Ramiro Puenzo became Siegemaker, a gadgeteer and villain. Primarily driven by a love for technology, most of Siegmaker’s criminal endeavors concerned the acquisition of exotic or illegal hardware to incorporate in his designs. What he excelled at, however, was providing a wide-range of sophisticated weapons and gadgets for criminal enterprises ranging from individuals to whole organizations. Puenzo, however, wasn’t a fool. He knew, eventually, he would be apprehended. So, upon discovering the construction of Lockdown through a Cartel ally, Siegemaker infiltrated the prison before it went on-line, and hid a spare suit and a variety of weapons and gadgets throughout the facility… just in case. That way, he’d either sell his inventions to convicts serving time at the Mountain, or use them himself if he was ever incarcerated there.   Puenzo’s foresight proved fortuitous following his capture and transfer to Buckner Ridge (the latter of which he arranged through his Cartel ally). Instead of escaping as he expected, however, Siegemaker chose to remain. The Cartel has offered him a significant percentage on the creation of hardware for the Advanced Technologies Research and Development department. Puenzo isn’t a full trustee yet, but if his first designs pan out for the Cartel, he will be. Still, if it doesn’t work out, Siegemaker has his arsenal hidden and ready.   Puenzo is very self-assured, but that’s because he’s most comfortable around other, dyed-in-the-wool villains. Actually, Puenzo isn’t a despotic heavy trying to rule the world or conquer a country; he’s a business-minded desperado with an interest in technology and the bottom-line. As such, he’s a reasonable individual, especially when there’s room for negotiation, but he’ll always look to get the best for himself. Puenzo is also comfortable in this environment because he knows freedom is within easy reach. He almost appears cocky, but as a non-powered individual, Puenzo knows his limitations.
