Noburpolene

Dr. Tomorrow wonder drug, noburpolene, is extremely potent in its purest form. The dose he took prior to leaving Earth-Prime lasted for months, and its telepathic boost allowed him to control cybernetic systems at line of sight range. Unfortunately for the resistance, none of its noburpolene measures up to these results.
The resistance has to manufacture the drug under far less than ideal circumstances, employing homemade labs, amateur pharmacists, and substandard (often substitute) chemicals. As a result, usable noburpolene remains scarce, and its effects are highly unpredictable when it is available.
