The Prince of Undeath

The Demon-King of the Dead, the Destroyer of All that Lives, and Master of the Vale of Shadows

None holds more hatred in his being than the monstrous and contemptible Prince of Undeath. Expelled to the Lower Planes after betraying the gods during the Times of Strife, the Prince of Undeath was sorely defeated by his one-time ally, the Horned King. He was imprisoned in the Vale of Shadows, a gloomy corner of the Lower Planes where nothing lives, and scores of the undead roam free, but hungry. There, the Prince of Undeath plots his vengeance against the gods of good. He is still capable of granting divine powers to some, and gives them mastery over death in order to spread senseless murder and bloodshed. The Prince of Undeath is the god of death in those aspects not overseen by the Keeper – murder, accidents, disease – and it is said that he might claim the souls of those killed in such a manner, cursing them to roam the Vale of Shadows forever as a bloated undead monstrosity. His cultists’ primary goals are to exact revenge on the worshipers of other gods (especially the Horned King, who betrayed him, and the Lawcrafter, who sentenced him), as well as open portals to the Lower Planes and the Vale of Shadows.
