The Knowing Eyes

The Lady of Wisdom, the Knower of All, and the Silent Guide upon the Path of Knowledge

Little is known of this enigmatic figure. She is as old as time itself, but played no part in the creation of the world. The Knowing Eyes merely observed, silently, as she has always done, and will always do. She is thought to be one of the most powerful gods, but does very little actively. As her name implies, the Knowing Eyes’ purpose is to learn all and know all. Although the occasional shrine can be seen with a lone cleric, she has no organized clergy, but communicates visions to her faithful. For the most part, solitary individuals (scholars, wizards, hermits, etc.) simply pray to her for clarity and wisdom in their pursuit of lore. Many follow her example, and take vows of silence when undertaking important tasks.

• The Knowing Eyes is the guardian of knowledge, and the patron of learning and scholarship. Her worship is concerned with the pursuit of truth.

• Those few clerics who draw power from the Knowing Eyes choose the Knowledge domain, or perhaps the Arcana domain.

• As her name implies, the symbol of the Knowing Eyes is a pair of staring eyes, or a single eye.

Tenets of Faith

• Knowledge is Power. What is done with It is up to you; Knowledge itself is the goal.

• Always be Open to Learning; listen to others, let them be Heard and Considered.

• Let your Path be guided by Reason, Truth, and Perception. Do not allow Emotions to cloud your Judgment. Temper your ideals with Wisdom.
