A Queen's Benevolence

For millennia, harpies have been hunted and killed by the human population of Lurzia. They have been confined to the small stretch of mountains that make up what the humans refer to as "Widow's Pass," which is heavily fortified and thoroughly patrolled by harpies. The Harpy Queen Ghelrielle has realized that her people are doomed to extinction or subjugation unless efforts to make peace with the nearby human settlements are made. She has been routinely sending scouting parties to watch over Harpy's Hamlet, hoping to make an ally out of the small human settlement.
