Commander Goldflask Bronzebottom

Commander Goldflask Bronzebottom is a legend among all of the Dwarves in Dham Mondun. In 129 AF, he single-handedly killed a legion of kobolds that were invading the brewery “Mead and Hammer” on the outskirts of Caer Bael using nothing more than his flask and a drinking horn.   In the battle of the salt mines in 131 AF where three legions (roughly 475 units) of Kobolds were attempting to destroy one of the primary exports of the Dwarves on Dham Mondun, Commander Bronzebottom used quick thinking and a bit of insanity to lure the kobolds into a back part of the mine and cave it in. All of Commander Bronzebottom's soldiers emerged unscathed while none of the Kobolds ever made it out of the mines. To this day it is said that the spirits of the Kobold Champions – the leaders of the Kobold Legions – can be seen walking around the mines.   The most unbelievable legend of Commander Goldflask Bronzebottom lies in his death. According to legend, Bronzebottom met his demise when he squared up against a dragon and unfortunately lost. While no living dragons have been seen in Caeldon since before the fracturing, the soldiers under Bronzebottom's command swear that when a green dragon attacked the castle of Caer Duna in 142 AF, Bronzebottom held his axe in one hand, hammer in the other, and charged the beast while it was on the ground. According to legend, he cleaved the dragon's left eye and severely wounded its wing before being grabbed by the dragon and tossed a great distance in the air to his death.
