A group of adventurers have all answered a summons to help an island city/village who has been plagued with a dastardly wonder as the local fey for some reason have begun to go against their nature. Is it a plague, a curse, has a more nefarious fey moved in and begun making its mark on the once peaceful island paradise? Only those brave enough to continue may find out!

Understanding How I set up this Account, & Me as a DM

When I post an article they are ALWAYS Works in Progress. This is because I am what is called a "pants writer" DM. For any player reading this that doesn't know what that is, it merely means I build the setting and a general plot idea. (Or as Guy from the YouTube Channel "How to be a Great DM" calls it your sentence; "Someone wants something badly, and is having difficulty getting it because …") THAT'S IT! It is COMPLETELY up to the players, and their characters, to interact with that setting and how to follow the general plot sentence. I really embrace that as a DM because it's just more fun to build the story with a lot of friends. I am JUST as much along for the ride as the lot of you! If I was set in my narrative ways, I would just write a novel (Which I do as a hobby. I have many mini-novels/fan-fictions/comics in the works; so realistically they would just be added to a list of ideas to use in those projects instead).

Now this brings me back to why these articles are "Works in Progresses" they are all subject to change slightly by my character's actions. I do break traditional conventions of the fantasy realms, to allow for more creative freedom but I do have rules. Which is one of the reasons I try to write articles so my players can understand the world I'm making without being in my head or having been exposed to my many sources of inspiration.
