The party are interogated and eventually break out of the Town Guard's head quarters with the help of Pascal 'Runner' Thorngate

Vaynar Flintslayer interrogates the party one by one trying to figure out what they know and who sent them. Pascalis incriminated in the process. Wallace Jr, discovers that her father is missing and the book they found at Murtoth's property is his property. Wallace Jr is then reunited with her pet who finds Pascal's familiar. Catching wind of all that's going down, Pascal uses an inside man to create an explosive distraction at the Headquarters and get the party free, along with Aida Enzaros. With stealth and luck, the party manages to avoid drawing attention to themselves and gather most of their belongings. The however, don't find the note book on the artifacts, assuming it's in the possession of Flintslayer. They travel back to The Broken Dagger Inn and find a furious Kumreck Bonerock and Pascal 'Runner' Thorngate
