Deresathria is a high elf and a bard. Born and raised in Baldur's Gate, from a noble family, she is known far and wide for her fighting abilities and her good taste in music. Passionate with friends and a hopeless romantic, she is elegant and ambitious.

A light armor is usually worn due to her adventurous (and usually harmful) lifestyle. Underneath she likes to wear her leather sleeveless jacket and her emerald green dress made of fine fabric. Small pouches on her arms and inside her leather boots are hidden out of sight from any praying hands. She carries with her a harp and her family's flute.

Personal history

Once upon a decade, in the land named Baldur's Gate, there is a small yet elegant town called Rulof. In this town was born and raised by a noble family of High Elves, a girl named Deresathria Higgins. Along with her she had four younger brothers and two sisters. Deresathria was the second eldest in the family. All of them discovered their gifts early (as is expected by the Higgins family) which would seal their fates for the rest of their lives. Of course all would have to have a little knowledge regarding other gifts and skills but their main gift would follow them forever. And so her four brothers (Ilim, Olmer, Gin and Truvik) discovered the gift of fighting with both a sword and their magical aura. Her younger sister Ferith discovered the gift of music and her eldest sister Elma the gift of seeing through one's mind and beyond. Deresathria had the gift of medicine. Their parents as proud of their children as they were, wanted them to sharpen their gifts as much and as soon as possible by participating in local events. Deresathria even though she loved all her siblings, she had a weakness towards her younger sister Ferith, a blonde with beautiful green eyes elf who loved sharing her emotions through her music. Deresathria would often spend time with her as Ferith would teach her how to play musical instruments. All would join to listen to the young elf girl and be mesmerised by her talent. Balls and great gatherings in the Higgins household would take place with Ferith being the main attraction. Deresathria was close with Ferith and would keep her from harm's way. One day her dear sister got sick and Deresathria would search anywhere for the right medicine but nothing would bring forth a solution. Ferith's condition got worse as she would sleepwalk and see illusions, speak different languages with a mixed order in her speech. All were troubled about her and one day she disappeared, nowhere to be seen. Some assumed her death, as Elma couldn't find her spiritual aura, neither her brothers as they searched long and far. Sadness had befallen the Higgins family. Deresathria in honor of her family and her sister as well as her shame for not being able to cure her led her to drop working in medicine and decided to practice music. Eventually she excelled in the arts of the lyre, the flute and many other instruments and became the new attraction of the family. Her parents opposed at first but eventually agreed with it as it filled the gap in a way. As Deresathria grew, she decided to reach new horizons in hopes that one day she'd figure out a way find her sister or in what state she was as well as a cure for her condition. Until then she spread her music around, pieces that her sister had composed and she was admired by many as a bard of Rulof.
