The World Before The Fire

Before, when the world was lush with vegetation, brimming with people, and pulsing with life, there seemed to be a balance. Your actions had consequences, you did good, good came back to you. If your actions were evil, evil came back. While in some ways that is still true today, the world shook when fire rained from the sky.

The Fire From the Sky

The change was gradual at first. summer getting hotter, less snow in the winter. Then The Fire came. When the meteors stuck the world, the change accelerated. Some areas were immediately burned up, entire forests, gone in an instant. The impact from so many meteors caused the gound to shake and change mountains were brought low, while others were raised. For those who lived through that time, they call it an unimaginable nightmare. After the inital impact, dust so think filled the air, the tempuratures around the globe rose to unbearbale heights. Over the next 10 years, the surface changed completely. There were no more forests, no more plains. Just a baren landscape filled with the heat.

After Fire

For shelter the races of the world sought deep caverns underground. The greatest minds gathered together and technology advanced rapidly. eventually leading to underground colonies grouped together to help one another stay alive. Each colony was given leaders, a purpose, and people. All were welcome to come and stay. As roughly 10% of the entire populations had survived up to this point. Since then the colonies have continued to advance in technology, giving birth to some amazing inventions. However, as the populations of each colony continue to rise, the need for more space and resources has reached an almost critical level. There is not enough to go around, especially in some colonies.

The World as You Know It

To succeed in this world, you need to understadn you place, but also have dreams of a greater place. How will you grow and influence this world? Are you going to fight for order? Push the next technological advance? Accept all those around you, no matter their decisions? Be careful, your choices will greatly impact the outcome of this world.
