The last hope for humanity

The Dominion of Man is the only thing that stands between the Eternal Empire and world domination. It is the alliance of the last remaining human nations that know there is but two options: stand together and have the smallest hope of surviving, or stand apart and fall to the unholy might of the Empire's undead legions.
The Dominion is an alliance born not out of friendship and camaraderie, but out of fear and necessity. There is little love lost between the nations inside the Dominion, and they wage skirmishes and petty wars against each other as much as they do with the Eternal Empire. Some speculate that if the Empire wasn't currently weakened by a recent civil war, it would have easily conquered the divided Dominion. Others, however, say that only the strongest survive and the internal conflict within the Dominion keeps it strong and ready for the final war with the Empire.

Structure

There is no central rulership within the Dominion. Instead, a council oversees the combined forces of the Dominion. These councillors are chosen by their respective nations and act as representatives for their heads of state.
As to what the council actually does is up for some debate. As each nation is independent, the council has no authority over the nations of the Dominion and act more as negotiators between the various states, hoping to resolve conflict and have the nations work together.
The council does, however, have authority over the Dominion Army, a military force under its direct control and drawing its soldiers from the various nations.

To save humanity from threat of the Eternal Empire, and to reclaim the lands that were lost to the Empire's eternal hunger.
