Kertari

The Kertarians are the descendants of the once prosperous Kirdibani People which flourished in the Age of River Kings. The Kertarians began migrating en-masse to Esbahar during the Gilded War Interregnum, around the Time that the last great lakes of the Toka-Kui began to try into their present marsh-like form. Before The Fall, Kertarians were called the 'dirt people' by Hwuati, often most numerous along Esbahar's distant fringes and working as guides and cattle-herders. Surviving Kertarians in the bastion of Kemet are the most likely to be found at the fringes of the Bastion or beyond its protective walls.
