The Experiment

Many millennia ago, there were two extra-dimensional beings. They had 6 'children' who rebelled against the beings rules and created the system Latea. Each 'child' made a planet home to a sentient race and made the people worship them as gods. But the 'children' were inexperienced and knew little of what they were doing and made many mistakes in the beginnings of each world. Thus, when all the beings had died and left the races to live on their own, the system began to come undone and fail.   Present day, the year 3145 CP, the now unified peoples struggle with the potential end of their solar system.   A young woman, Nimzae from the planet Ayiyana, moves to the colony planet Arora to be an interplanetary student. she meets a pair of Thaean siblings and various other colourful characters from across Latea. The group has little in common and no incentive to be friends until a cult of religious extremists reveal themselves as wanting to hasten the end of the worlds. The mismatched company connect over their collective self-preservation and an adventure begins.
