The Wandering Mountain

Both a monster and a city, the Wandering Mountain is truly a unique place. A mimic of colossal size, houses have been built into its flesh and even within its mouth and internal organs.

Demographics

The city on the Wandering Mountain are almost entirely inhabited by ysoki. Other small races such as halflings and goblins have moved into the city but their numbers are less represented.

Government

The Wandering Mountain is home to a anarchist collective. There is no ruler, rather rules to aid and help each other with daily life.

Infrastructure

Every so often, the Wandering Mountain will wake up and devour a town before going back to sleep. During this time it is asleep, the ysoki dig through the mouth and innards of the mountain for wealth and magic items the beast may have swallowed. There are also individuals who drain the mountain's blood for use in potions and spells. There is also a booming ecosystem on the mountain complete with farms and hunting grounds.

History

The Ysoki lived on the mountain in peace for many years. Until the War of the Dragon and the mountain felt called to Diavalo's side. It was then when the mountain came to the border of the Clockwork Empire and was first discovered by the larger world.
