Once upon a time, there was a god. All other gods feared and shunned this god, for they knew that one day even their own time would come. This god grew desperate in its loneliness, and tore itself in two, creating the Twined.
The Twined are of one soul, but two minds and bodies. Brother appears as a mass of undulating shadow from which fangs and claws of darkness can reach out from to swallow his victims. Sister appears as a young woman covered in snow white fur and with hoofed feet. Her eyes are said to show a reflection of your inevitable death in their stary depths.

Tenets of Faith

All life comes to an end. Attempting to escape death will only result in suffering. That which attempts to flee from death will be chased down and be devoured.

None. the Twinned are a primal force of nature, it is speculated that any sign of sentience they show is purely by coincidence. They exist to maintain the balance of life and death. Nothing more.

Personal history

The Twined are one of the Ancient Gods, believed by many to be the first god to be born at the beginning of the third age. However, not even the other divine's know much of their history, and the few Celestials remaining from the time before their birth remain quite on them out of apparent fear.
