Tavern of Unreality

The Tavern of Unreality is the term adventurers have coined for a tavern that seems to always appear when least expected. The tavern has been seen in cities, jungles, and even in the mountains.   It is a simple establishment. A bar stocked with a limited selection of wines, beers, and spirits from across the Wuld, with never any rime or reason for what is stocked. However, all those who partake of the food and drink available say that there is nothing exceptionally noteworthy about it. The building varies in size by accounts but always seems to have the exact number of beds for whatever group of individuals have elected to stay there for the night. That being said, it is noteworthy that only adventurers and other prospector types ever seem to come across the Tavern, and only one group at a time.   The bar tender is a enigmatic figure called Lee Craft. His appearance seems to change from encounter to encounter, with some describing him as a triton while others claim he is an elf, or a human, or a demon ect. One thing remains the same, his calm collected personality and way of putting his guests at ease no matter how horrific his visage. The bar has two seemingly human guards, Howard and Philip. While Howard is rather dour and seems to be annoyed at the presence of guests, Philip is cheerful and energetic, inviting travelers in and sometimes paying for their first round at the bar.   All those who stay at the Tavern report undergoing some sort of encounter with a monster. Whether it be an attack by ravenous Merska, or a deluge of ghosts, some nightmare of the dark hour always arrives to attack the Tavern during the night. Lee Craft is often slain in these events, leading some to believe that he may in fact be the Trickster God Rerrdal, though many scholars believe him to have been slain in the Cataclysm as records indicate he was despised by many other gods and likely would have been targeted during that conflict.
