Lizard Folk

The Lizard Folk are distant relatives of the Dragonborn, but have been separated from the bulk of the Dragonborn culture for centuries. This separation has led to their evolution to go in a different rout. Unlike dragonborn who are tall, thin, and lithe, the Lizard Folk are stockier and shorter, with a more brutal appearance. Many Lizard folk live deep in the swamps of the Blackmarsh. Many Lizardfolk are barbaric, their warriors use a sluree of chemicals synthesized from swamp plants to force themselves into a raging fury while in combat.

Most lizard folk names are more sound based than anything else; common lizard folk names are Arg, Kraig, Raag, and Tsiiith.

The Lizard folk are a subrace of Dragonborn and as such were created by the dragon god Gilgamesh.
