Goliaths

Hailing from the Coral Planes, Goliaths are a traditionally warlike people, they make most of their living from raiding caravans and villages. But that is only a small part of Goliath culture. Goliath's are hunters, and in the years after the cataclysm, they have learned to carve a niche in the chaotic and dangerous environment. Although they can be unpredictable and dangerous, many do attempt to seek out goliaths to better protect their caravans or adventuring parties.

Naming Traditions

Goliath names can be confusing to outsiders. Rather than going with the traditional idea of a name, goliaths often use different names throughout their lives dependent on their position or skill. As such, goliaths named Ace Hunter, Lead Explorer, or the like are common. But some goliaths adopt more permanent names based on their achievements, such a goliath berserker named Ravager after destroying a once thriving town.
The Goliaths were created by Melchior, the god of Strength. They were created to represent his strength within the world, but he made his servants too strong. They overtook him, killed him, and turned his skin into armor and his bones into weapons. . .
