Fiends

Fiends are not a natural race. Elementals are constantly creating new creatures to act as their vessels in the material planes, or as simple fodder for their machines of war. Fiends are one of these races. Unlike Genasi, fiends are grotesque meaty monstrosities made of flesh and steel purely for the purpose of destroying the enemies of the Elementals.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Fiends are biological constructs. They do not have a fixed morphology, but most tend to be bipedal with a mechanical weaponized frame with biological components grown around the frame to operate it.

Dietary Needs and Habits

From dissections done by scientists after a Fiend attack has been quelled, it would seem that Fiends require no sustenance, rather they are fueled by magitech generators located where their stomachs would be.

Note for 5th Edition, Fiends are categorized as Fiends, while Angels and Demons are categorized as Celestials.
