Chylthist

The Chylthist people are a hard and rugged folk, living deep in the frozen tundra of the north. They are naturally skeptical of outsiders and rarely tolerate their presence. Each of the four major tribes, collectively called the Chylthist Ascendancy have their own set hunting grounds that they will travel across throughout the year, chasing after their food. However, the city of Csilla acts as a sort of hub for the tribes to meet and trade. It is also the primary location where they trade and interact with outsiders.

Naming Traditions

Most Chylthist names are built around three parts, a primal name, a core name, and a tribal name. The primal name is the name of the family the Chylthist came from, core is their personal name, and tribal name relates to their tribe and the associated god. Most names are short and harsh sounding such as Mit’haw’nol or Rek’sai’sol. The four tribal names are Nol, Sol, Wol, Eol. Most Chylthis go predominantly by their core name.

Very little is know about the Chylthist society. But the city of Csilla seems to be built out of rough black stone bricks. The buildings are close to the ground but large and expansive. Efficiency seems to be the primary purpose of most of their architecture, to make as much use of space as possible.
