Aacroakra

The Aacroakra are considered the most ‘enlightened’ of the races. Dwelling in sprawling stone temples built on the tops of mountains, the Aacroakra foresaw the coming of the Cataclysm, and using their knowledge, transformed their mountainous homes into flying cities, avoiding the ravaging of the earth far below. Now, three Aacroakra cities still fly above the world, Shii Za, Cho Ya, and Dar En, named after the patron saints of the original temples. The people of Zhii Za have doubled down upon their warrior heritage, becoming a flying fortress of death. As this city flies over the Everwilds, Aarakocra warriors dart down raiding and burning farms and settlements for sport. The people of Cho Ya have however rejected their warrior ways, and have adopted a pacifistic outlook on reality. They are content to work in their gardens and debate philosophy. They pay little mind to the outside world however, believing outside ideas could poison their utopia. The people of Dar En are loved by all free people. They actively travel and trade with the people of the world, giving gifts of Aarakocran technology and wealth to those who can offer the right price in exchange.

The flying cities of the Aacroakra are shining cities of gold, silver and bronze. Spiral towers, and open air gardens. All flying cities have a golden pyramid in the center of them. These cities are not all on one flying base however. There are many clusters of buildings all interconnected by sky trams.
