The Imperial Cities of Iphis

A new power in the known world of Aigea, the Imperial cities of Iphis are a federation established in around 1075 ABM as a faction of cities opposed to the Sultan of Oshya's gradual acceptance of northern customs to which many of the cities found as sacrilege to the old ways. As support grew in western Iphis for the Imperials, more and more cities joined the cause choosing to govern themselves and to be equal parts of a federation, instead of being ruled by one Sultan. This led to a war across the continent of Iphis. Over the next 25 years, war would rage between both sides until a stale mate led to neither side gaining an advantage.
