Kalem Seldry
Born Kamilla Seldry, she grew up along side her twin brother Kalem.
Kamilla always knew she had been born in the wrong body, but after the death of her brother and parents in a fire on the family estate, she took the radcial decision to live her life as Kalem, and for Kamilla to have died in the fire.
Now living as Kalem, he became a ward of another Lord in Montheus, and trained alongside his son to become a skilled swordsman. Kalem showed great promise and was able to quickly prove his abilities. Though woman knights and warriors are accepted in Enther, chosing to live as another gender is something that is not understood by the majority. This resulted in Kalem hiding his secret from everyone, including those close to him.
One night, after years of carefully hiding his secret, the son of the lord accidently walked in on Kalem changing. When he saw the female figure of Kalem he quickly told his father. Disgusted, the Lord told Kalem to leave their home. Kalem, panicked by what happened pleaded with the Lord to keep his secret. The Lord agreed but only on the condition he never tells anyone about his time living with them, as not to disgrace their name.
Kalem, now lost and homeless spent months living on the streets of Montheus, fighting and stealing to survive. After a particulary violent fight, he was found by Madame Shyla in the streets. She took him in and tended to his wounds, discovering his secret while he was unconscious. Shyla, sympathetic to Kalem assured a waking Kalem that his secret was safe and offered to show him how to sew and create clothing more suitable and flattering to a male figure. Soon, he became a guard of sorts for Shyla and her girls.
A skilled fighter, Kalem decided to try his look at the age of seventeen at Reginald's Pit competing in a minor melee tournament where he came out the victor. Since then Kalem has appeared in a few fights, but has never entered the dangerous War Games despite him being approached by Bellowbane Fighters Guild.
