Hackonson Family - Royal Family

The current Crown Family of Enther, and the third family dynasty to rule over the Kingdom. For 500 years the Hackonson dynasty have ruled the kingdom. Though their reign has been long, it has not been without its catastrophise.

Dorendale

The city of Dorendale has always been ruled by a Hackonson since the days of its founder Black Hackon. The river Doren at the base of Dorendale has long proved to be an asset for the city which uses the river for trade. The fortress in the centre of the city is formidable.

History

An old and proud family, the Hackonson bloodline is descended from the infamous raider "Black Hackon". Black Hackon was a man in open rebellion against King Matheus as he tried to unite the kingdom after the liberation of Enther from the clutches of the Enthermen. Black Hackon built a small fortress in the south of the Kingdom, building atop a hill with a river running round it's base. As the fortress grew, so did the village and town around it, eventually becoming a town named Dorendale for Black Hackon's wife Doreen. Black Hakon's fortress combined with his raiders made for a formidable enemy during the uniting of the kingdom but ultimately was defeated upon the field and upon Black Hackon's execution his son, Fallon Hackonson swore fealty to the King.
