The Black Corsairs

The Black Corsairs are pirates from the Black Kingdoms, who roam the Western Ocean during the Hyborian Age. Among them are Bêlit's Black Corsairs, based in the Southern Isles, with whom Conan serves as the first mate "Amra". But there are other groups as well, such as Ahmaan the Merciless's Black Corsairs, or the Black Corsairs hired by Thoth-Amon to retrieve the Idol stolen by Conan from the acolytes of Yimsha. Rumors swirl that some of these Corsairs are well-known cannibals, adding an extra layer of dread to their already fearsome reputation.
