Mek Kamoses of the Black Ring, The Ophidian Magi, once a powerful sorcerer, now finds himself exiled and shackled by oppressive bracelets designed to suppress his true powers. Betrayed by his former allies, particularly the ambitious Thoth Amon, who wielded the Serpent Ring of Set to ascend in power and political influence, Mek Kamoses now seeks to reclaim his lost sorcery and exact vengeance. Convinced that the ancient Giant-kings of the land hold the key to restoring his abilities, he embarks on a relentless quest to unearth artefacts akin to the Serpent Ring. Despite his predicament, Mek Kamoses remains resolute in his belief that sorcery is a matter of knowledge rather than innate power, offering to share the secrets of the Book of Skelos with those who aid him in his quest for redemption and revenge.
At the end of the Age of Sorcery, he was beheaded by Conan, where his head retained life even after the death of his body.
He was later seen during the Age of Exploration, where he was swallowed by his own serpent while fighting a group of adventurers who saught vengeance for a curse that he placed on their comrad.
