Kaliyah was born in the harsh lands of Darfar, where life is as unforgiving as the desert itself. From a young age, she witnessed the cycle of suffering and injustice that plagued her people. Raised by her grandmother, a wise herbalist and healer, Kaliyah learned the ancient ways of the land—how to survive off the land's bounty and how to heal wounds inflicted by both man and beast.
When she was just a teenager, Kaliyah's village fell victim to a brutal raid by Stygian slavers. Many were taken captive, and among them was Kaliyah herself. Sold into slavery, she endured years of servitude and suffering before fate led her to encounter Alok Singh, a mysterious warrior-priest who preached the teachings of Asura in secret.
Under Alok's guidance, Kaliyah found solace in the teachings of Asura—teachings that spoke of justice, karma, and the liberation of the soul from suffering. Through clandestine meetings and whispered prayers, she embraced Asura's path, finding strength in her faith and a resolve to fight against the oppression that had plagued her people.
Now, Kaliyah travels with Alok Singh and his band of followers, spreading Asura's teachings and offering hope to those who suffer. Her knowledge of healing herbs and her skills as a warrior make her a valuable asset to the group, and her unwavering faith in Asura fuels her determination to bring justice to Stygia and beyond.
