The Endless Dark

On the opposite spectrum of the Meadow, the Endless Dark is a vast cavern at the edge of the Echo Realm. A Lamp was installed once when exploration parties were a common sight but the void proved fruitless and thus the exploration was abandoned, especially after many of the explorers were lost to various strange circumstances... or just fell to their deaths. How deep the expanse is is unknown but at least a few hundred miles down the sheer face were explored.
The Lamp located here is dim, fading after years of disuse. The area itself is eerily silent, screams go un-echoed. Many people come here to die.
The Tunnel Guardians seem to fear the place, referring to it as a lonely place best left alone.
Truly, the Dark reminds the inhabitants of the Echo Realm just how much they don't know.

Geography

Unlike other locations, the Endless Dark seems to sit at the edge of the very world. It makes the Echo Realm seem like it exists on a plateau. The cliff goes on for miles and miles in either direction, the edge a sharp drop. It's depths are unknown and it's unknown just how far out the wall goes here. Even the Roof sharply goes upward to heights unknown. Even given the size of the Meadow's warped environment beyond its Guardian, the Endless Dark makes it look small.

Fauna & Flora

While it's unknown what lies in the Abyss, if you listen, you may hear the sound of an animal or beast of some kind grunting. Once, there was a roar that shook the very stone but it was never heard again. Maybe believe this creature was cursed never to leave this void and that it somehow causes the strange things that happen.

Natural Resources

There is an abundance of stone here but no one dared to mine it. There was an attempt on one occasion but mine... disappeared. Along with the miners inside. No one has tried since.
If you listen closely you can hear water from somewhere in the Void. This source of water was never located despite it sounding close.
