Background

It was the fall of night when Vidania - still a little girl then - and her parents, while traveling the roads on their way back from a festival, are attacked. A haunting melody started playing bringing the young girl in a trance-like state. As she was losing consciousness, she could hear a loud growl embedding her with fear. The last thing she saw before passing out was both her parents being dragged off into the nearby woods. The girl woke the next morning finding herself alone. Searching the place of the attack she found a medallion which had belonged to her mother, it is the only keepsake she has left of her family. As she tried making her way back to her hometown she got lost, stumbling further and further into the woods. She kept alive by foraging berries and made friends with some local squirrels by feeding them. The elven girl was eventually taken in by a group of nomadic rangers. While traveling the lands she learned other survival skills from the rangers. She found out she was especially good at handeling animals, making friends with most of the woodland creatures, and at times even communicating with them.

She currently resides near Chadtown, located deep in the Echo Forest, where she helps merchants and the occasional traveler to navigate the woods. She has made it her mission to keep the forests a safe place for travelers, so that no person should ever feel as lost the way she had done the night she lost her parents.
