Ecas
His name is Ecas, clanless and born a bastard. He was left by his mother as a child in an alleyway close to the harbor of Waterdeep. Waiting for his mother to come back day after day, his thoughts began to wander towards a way to find meaning and how to survive.
Ecas has lived most of his life at sea. Through his childhood, he found small and unthankfull jobs, mobbing the decks of various ships and might also (without him really noticing), have been sold between crews. But Ecas finds purpose on the sea. Mostly because, it has been the closest to a home he ever felt.
But despite the tradgedy of his childhood, living most of his life in slavery and a dark and twisted secret, he is a happy boi with an optimistic and naive perspective on life.
Physical Description
Body Features
Despite being a Dragonborn, he has a slim, athletic and somewhat slightly muscular bodystructure. Not the strongest, but still got the characteristic build of a dragonborn
Facial Features
He always has a smirk on his face and kind eyes. A true troublemaker (Ballade).
Identifying Characteristics
Underneath his tunic, a stoned squid is somehow merged into his scaly chest, twisting it’s stoned tentacles up towards and around his neck.
Apparel & Accessories
He has simple sailor’s clothing. A white (or used to be white) roughly dirty tunic, a leather belt that keeps up a pair of slim leathery dark green-ish pants. For the tail to stick out, the pants are badly cut open on the back.
He has multiple silver-ish finger rings. One of them with a large green stone.

Ecas always shows a happy face, but keeps a secret of a cruel faith underneath the facad. He might seem somewhat calm and unaffected on the ship, but can also show a traumatic and frightened side of him, when too close to the sea…
