A Vampiric Legacy

Damali was a strong Navatu man of the Noh Tribe, known for his bravery and strength back during the days. After taking off his mask within the Void he found himself met with an insatiable hunger for mortal flesh. He traveled the countryside, hunting people day and night. Those who survived his attacks would in turn join Damali's ranks as an undead hunter of the night, the Ohoyjo. Damali terrorized the people of the Navatulands until a mighty tribe gathered their best warriors at the behest of the Noh Tribe to slay Damali and his followers. As it was the early morning, Damali's followers were not at peak strength and found themselves slaughter one by one. To end the carnage and save the rest of his people, Damali went and sacrificed himself to the warriors, giving his followers time to escape underground.   Though burned alive at the stake, Damali did not die. And as his corpse was tossed to the wolves to be eaten, he awoke from his stake of death and fled into the night, never to be seen again. His family, two sons who too carried within them true vampiric blood, were able to keep alive his legacy, continuing to hunt and turn more victims into the undead. His legacy going strong, Damili chose to remain in the shadows and disappeared from history's spotlight.   As time went on, Damili's children would form their own ideals for which the Adzewe Tribe were to follow. While their followers were many, in time the two brothers began to differ in ideals and ended up with a long-standing feud that goes on to this day.
