The DRUniverse

What do you get when you cross George Miller cosplayers, a low fantasy kingdom, god knows how many mercenaries and a bandit problem? Apparently this. The DRUniverse is a strange multimedia shared universe, set in a post-apocalyptic/low fantasy world and home to adventures and misadventures of all shapes and sizes. From a cyborg war vet (with a neat sword) and his engineer buddy going on a eclectic road trip through Europe to a gritty detective, on the cusp of the biggest discovery of his life and even a gang of drunken bandits singing Divine Comedy (I swear it makes sense in context) and even an alliance of genetically engineered Scottish ninja assassins. With an odd crew of writers at the helm, and an amazing amount of references to anything from Warhammer 40000 to RWBY you can expect a variety of stories coming out of this, ones to make you laugh and ones to make you cry, as well as (hopefully) a few to make you say "Heh, that's pretty neat".   While nobody has any idea why the world ended, people have really stopped caring (it was ages ago, old news!) in favour of their new squabbles and problems. The sandy expanse that used to be the English Channel is now comprised of a selection of city-states, mostly under the control of the Gargeno Federation, a powerful alliance born out of war. There are exceptions though, such as the isolationist New Utopia, the enigmatic Walkasherlian Empire (which is far smaller than the Federation, go figure) and the Camelot Region, which maintains its independence by reminding people they live right next to the biggest mercenary company in the channel.   Have fun and listen to the radio!
