The Dresden Files: Roses and Thorns

Welcome to Portland, city of roses, bridges, more craft breweries than you can shake a stick at and weirdos. Seriously there are a lot of weirdos, they made a whole TV show about it. But beneath the quirky veneer boils a city in constant conflict. Portland has quietly been a major battleground in the supernatural world for years being tossed from one extreme to the other by the wars fought by the major supernatural power players of the world. Be it Fairies, Vampires or Fish monsters they all seem to target the weirdos, people who know just enough about the supernatural world to be in danger but not enough to do anything about it. For those in-the-know Portland is a dangerous place where they are all forced to hunker down and hide from the things that go bump in the night and there are precious few who are willing to bump back.
