Midnight Forest

The Midnight Forest is one of the darkest regions of The Dreamscape. Despite the intense lack of light, the plants in it seem to thrive.
Scattered throughout the Midnight Forest are clearings, some small some vast. In these clearings one can look up and see the beautiful night sky above. The Sky in the Midnight Forest is is main attraction -- it is the bridge between the Midnight Forest and The Abyss. The bridge creates a lensing effect that makes The Abyss appear to be much farther away than it really is. The "stars" in the "sky" are actually void jellies. The brighter the star, the more void jellies are in that location; the brightest stars are entire swarms while the dimmest stars are bright individuals or small groups of dimmer individuals.
It is not definitively known whether the Patronal demons have invaded the Region or not. While there have been reports of eerie and frightening encounters, no demons have yet been spotted or detected.
