It is the 2,236^th object discovered in the year 10558 RE by astronomers on Earth as the planet began passing through the middle region of the Oort Cloud on its way out of the Solar System. The object immediately captured the world's attention due to its large size.
Larger than the planet Mars, 10558 AL₈₉ is unexpectedly big. This prompted astronomers to send a probe to explore it.
10558 AL₈₉ only got stranger and stranger with each observation. Not only was the object larger than Mars, but it also wasn't completely round, like astronomers would have expected a planet-sized object to be. Further adding to the mystery, the probe sent to the object detected a strong electric field surrounding it.
