Recap: It Should've Been Shug

General Summary

Our champions awaken once more. However, this time another awakens. Phi, the changeling. Our champions are... Less than welcoming. McTurner, for example, spits in Phi's face. Teslen shrugs when asked where they are. Hela is drunk. Eventually, Phi just leaves.   She heads down the forest trail, going through the forest path and eventually coming upon the orchard where she meets a collie type cynocephali girl who leads her into town. From there, she is taken to Anmo's, where she signs a number of paper before heading back out in search of Lasmyla.   Meanwhile, our champions fully awaken, and realize what had happened. A shapeshifter (or multiple people) had been in their temple. McTurner is dubious. Eventually, everyone settles down for the day and either gets breakfast or trains.   In town, Phi asks for directions, and eventually makes her way to the guard's barracks, where she heads to the training ground and meets Lasmyla. She introduces herself, before taking Lasmyla with her to hunt down magic items. This ends them up in Belkin's Wares, where Phi buys a small, plush toy and a jar of twitching insect wings. Afterward, they leave, and head for the temple.   Once Phi and Lasmyla enter the temple grounds, the champions all group up, discuss their quest, and head for the Panbul High Spirits Stables. Upon arrival, the hippogriffs (Dolce, Bravo, and Olmn) are saddled. As this is happening, Phi notices a commotion in the barn. A scarecrow is being harassed by a hippogriff. She jumps the fence, runs into the barn, and helps a cynocephali stable hand pull the hippogriff off of the scarecrow. It's Shug.   Once the hippogriffs are saddled, the champions are brought to them and choose which ones to ride. Brungnir and McTurner got onto Dolce. Flamesworth and Teslen got onto Bravo. Phi and Hela got onto Olmn (regrettably). From here, they are locked onto their birds, and are lead to the docks, before departing. The ride is blessedly short. Phi and Hela scrap with each other during this short flight, but nothing catastrophic happens.   They eventually make it to Ritz, of the Outer Ring, tie up their hippogriffs, and head out. Phi runs ahead while the rest of the party trudges behind. The first stop they reach is a small pond, completely empty except for cattails and a frog which Phi catches and names "Frogsworth". From here, they continue, before making it to a small camp where they see two goblins; Ige and Uge. They initiate combat. While fighting Ige and Uge, a third goblin, Squg, appears, slashing Phi with a dagger. All three goblins are knocked out, tied up, and eventually brought back to Panbul for imprisonment. From here, the party collects their bounty, cashes in a small locket, and heads back to base before going to sleep.

Squg was captured and imprisoned, alongside his henchmen, Ige and Uge.
